Every tree company in the Twin Cities says the same six words on its homepage: safe, certified, insured, professional, family owned, free estimates. They are all worth exactly nothing, because everybody says them and every homeowner knows it.
The difference between a certified arborist and a guy with a chainsaw is not visible in a phone call and it is not visible in a bid. It is visible in where the ropes go, in whether there are mats under the equipment, in which limb comes off first, and in what the lawn looks like when the truck pulls away.

Yes. Every video on this page is an Urban Tree crew on a real Twin Cities property, filmed on the job. We do not use stock footage or another company’s work, and we do not stage removals for the camera.
The crane group at the top of the library has them, including a Minneapolis removal where the tree came out over the roof. If you want to know whether your tree is a crane job, send a photo and a certified arborist will tell you, free.
Probably not exactly, and that matters less than you would think. What transfers between jobs is the method: assess, rig, section, lower, clean. Send us a photo of yours and we will tell you which parts apply.

It depends on access, on what is under the tree, and on how sound the wood is. A crane is often the cheaper option, not the expensive one, because it turns a two-day job into a half-day one. We will tell you honestly which one your tree needs.
